You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.

When anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or past experiences start taking up too much space, life can begin to feel smaller.

You may know something needs to change without knowing exactly where to start. You might be caught in cycles of intrusive thoughts or compulsions, constantly trying to manage anxiety, avoiding situations that feel overwhelming, or carrying experiences from the past that still affect how you feel today.

SkyBox Therapy provides specialized support for people navigating:

  • OCD and intrusive thoughts

  • Generalized and social anxiety

  • Panic and phobias

  • Health anxiety

  • Agoraphobia

  • Body-focused repetitive behaviors

  • Trauma and PTSD

Therapy isn’t about having the perfect words or being completely ready. It starts with being open to taking the next step.

You may already have a diagnosis, or you may simply know that something feels harder than it should. Therapy can help you better understand what you’re experiencing and begin working toward a different way of responding.

Specialized treatment for OCD, Anxiety and Trauma

Treatment should be tailored to what you’re actually experiencing.

SkyBox Therapy uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches selected around your needs, history, and goals.

Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP)

ERP is an evidence-based treatment commonly used for OCD and anxiety-related conditions.

Rather than continuing to avoid a fear or relying on compulsions to reduce anxiety, ERP helps you gradually learn a different way to respond. We work step by step, building toward situations that may feel uncomfortable while giving you the structure and support to practice responding differently.

The goal isn’t to eliminate every uncomfortable thought or feeling. It’s to help fear have less control over the way you live.

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a structured, trauma-focused therapy designed to help the brain process distressing experiences that may still feel unresolved.

Using bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements or tapping, EMDR can help you work through memories and the emotions, beliefs, or reactions connected to them.

You don’t have to recount every detail of a difficult experience. Treatment is paced thoughtfully, with preparation and grounding built into the process.

Additional Approaches

Depending on your needs, therapy may also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EFT/tapping, psychoeducation, and holistic considerations that support your overall well-being.

A thoughtful approach with structure and genuine care.

Therapy can be compassionate and still challenge you to grow.

At SkyBox Therapy, you won’t be rushed through the process or pushed into something before you’re ready.

We’ll start by listening and understanding where you are. From there, we’ll create structure around the work so you can better understand what you’re experiencing, what we’re working toward, and how progress is taking shape.

That may mean gently stepping outside your comfort zone. It may also mean giving yourself grace when progress isn’t perfectly linear.

The work can have a messy middle. You don’t have to navigate that part alone.

Our approach is grounded in:

Meet Shayna

Hi, I’m Shayna McGraw.

I’m a therapist specializing in OCD, anxiety-related disorders, and trauma, and I founded SkyBox Therapy to create a space where clients can feel genuinely supported while also doing focused, intentional work toward change.

My experience has allowed me to work with people from many different backgrounds, beginning with work in a school district and later supporting adolescents in residential settings, refugees, youth referred through county social services, and clients in private practice.

Those experiences reinforced something I still bring into my work today: there isn’t one universal path to healing.

My approach combines evidence-based treatment with curiosity, patience, and a willingness to think beyond a one-size-fits-all model. I continue to expand my training so I can bring useful tools and education into our sessions when they can meaningfully support your progress.

My training includes ERP, EMDR, neurofeedback, and Dr. Daniel Amen’s Elite Brain Health Clinician program, along with continued education in approaches supporting anxiety, OCD, trauma, and overall brain health.

What it can feel like to work with SkyBox Therapy.

“Shayna has helped me in so many ways in our therapy sessions that I will forever be grateful for. When I first started out, I had so much anxiety and wasn’t the most confident person. After our sessions and healing through modalities such as EMDR, ERP, or talk therapy, I feel better about myself overall. I just feel like a different person in the best way.

Shayna’s always here to listen and offers the best advice about life. She gives me a different point of view and really helps me to dissect my thoughts and feelings when dealing with an issue.

Shayna is a remarkable therapist, and anyone would be lucky to have her as one! I truly do feel like I have grown so much as a person in therapy and I am so proud of my progress here, all thanks to Shayna.”
